History
The Maylands Sports and Recreation Club opened in its current location in 1990 following changes to the City of Bayswater boundaries.
The first affiliated sports club was the Maylands Bowling Club, which was established in 1912 and formerly located on the site that is now ‘The Rise’ facility.
Since then, the MSRC has grown to include dragon boat, outrigger canoe, and darts clubs, as well as various community organisations.
MSRC is run by a Board elected by members from all affiliated sporting clubs and the community.
MSRC leases the facility from the City of Bayswater and the facilities are available for hire.
